There are die hard fans of sports celebrities, popular singers, and film stars. Even though most basketball games and other shows are already shown live on television, these fans prefer watching their idols personally. They watch every game, concert, and show where their favorite celebrities are present. It is part of the reason why venues like the Mohegan Sun Arena will never run out of customers. Die hard fans make up a large percentage of spectators in a game or concert.
Fans are happier and more alive when they are in front of the action rather than staying at home and watching the event on the television. They want to rub elbows with other fans to heighten their excitement. Their attendance is also considered as a form of support for their favorite teams, players, and performers. The Mohegan Wolves football team used to get this kind of support from the people of Connecticut in all their wonderful games.
